Honestly, I haven't been impressed with the performance of the new
iMacs at all. I used the same setup a few days ago at the apple store
in SOHO here in NYC and I didn't like it. Also, they're running an
older build of Jaguar. The GM has some changes and on my dual G4 500
with a radeon mac edition and 640MB of RAM it runs REALLY nicely. A
lot cleaner than 10.1.5 (which I was using before it), faster, more
responsive, better at mult-tasling, more stable, AND more customizable.
