it's a matter of the os not the processor.  but as i recall, any version
of the os can handle a 2 gig drive or larger if the partitions aren't
larger than 2 gig. probably the best place to find plain old 50 scsi
hard drives is on the swap list or ebay, you can probably get a larger
one for what you will pay for ram, last summer i bought several 4.3g
drives for $35 each as i recall.  you might also check ebay and the swap
list for the ram, you should be able to find a much, much better deal,
should be less than $1 per meg.
