Bob diddled out something to the effect: >> On the PC it's very easy to copy images from Web pages. The Right mouse key >> does it. But how do we do it with a G3 Blue? Or any G? >> >> Best, >> Bob
Aloha Bob: I have a G-4 with a Pro keyboard and mouse (single button clear). If your contextual menu is enabled, most are, simply hold the "control" key on the keyboard down to see if it's enabled. A small icon-sized menu will appear next to the cursor. If it is, hold the "control" key while you hold down the key on the mouse and a contextual menu will appear. It will give you a variety of options as to what you want to do, select the option and your done. You can also simply drag the page onto the desktop and it will save it as a document. Another way is to go to "File" in the menu bar across the top, click on it, and then click on "Save" and it will save it to your hard drive. It's just as easy as a PC, if not easier. BTW, if your using OS 9 + I would recommend you take a look at USB Overdrive. It speeds up the mouse by 5X's over the fastest speed available on the Mac. It is also extremely helpful when using the mouse for games or when using a game pad or joystick. It recognizes almost every major game pad or joystick and steering wheel on the market. If they don't have a driver listed, email the owner and he will do his best to make a driver to fit your gaming device. It really makes a huge difference if you use the mouse a lot rather than the keyboard!!! You can test drive the full version of USB Overdrive for 30 days free at: http://www.usboverdrive.com or at: http://www.montalcini.com After using it for 7 days, and then going back to the regular mouse speed, I felt like the regular mouse, even though it was set at fastest, was moving in slow motion. It's well worth the price. It's also available for OS X. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
