I just installed OS X (10.1) on my G3 DT. Once I got beyond the 8 GB HD partition issue (adequately documented - I just didn't "get" that the ENTIRE partition needed to be within the 1st 8 GB of the 120 GB drive), the install went smoothly. I'll bump it up to Jaguar tonite.
I am having trouble accessing my D-Link 10/100 E-net card though. It seems to be supported by OS X (D-Link has a driver which I downloaded) but when I double click on the resulting package, it tells me that I need an administrator password but gives me no option to enter it. I have not set up multiple users (yet) so I should be already logged in as the administrator. Any hints/suggestions/tips to get me on the fast(er) network? TIA.
