Early Beiges were made with CD-ROM drives which had a firmware bug, and 
required that they be plugged as Master. Later Beiges didn't have this 
problem.

Early Beiges which supported Slaves, and also had the optional Zip, were 
often made with SCSI Zips instead of EIDE Zips, as those EIDE Zips had a 
firmware bug, and required that they be plugged as Master. This was fixed, 
too.
