None of the varieties of Netscape past 4.7, including Mozilla, N6 and N7, will run on my iBook with OS 9.1 without crashing everything. Beware. iCab is stable and quicker than Netscape. I use it most of the time. If there is a page it will not handle a page, Netscape 4.7 will usually take care of it.
