Microsoft runs extensive support info online.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;oex

gives you the Outlook Express Support Center. You can query the search box
for things Macintosh to narrow down the offerings. At

osoft.public.internet.mail&SLCID=US&sd=GN&id=fh;en-us;newsgroups

you can pose specific questions.

You can create any number of folders and subfolders. Use the Outlook
Express Help for the procedure. My folders appear between Deleted Items and
Address Book in the left column.

I do not think so. To put specific items into my AppleWorks, I simply
copy/paste.

This looks like you have limited disk space. If not, just let your folders
grow where they are.

If the idea is to archive items from an e-list, such as a thread on one
subject, I "Forward" a the first message, using no address, and Save as
Draft. As additional items of the thread arrive, I open the draft item and
copy/paste the new items into the bottom of the window. When the thread has
run its time, I can put it into a subject folder, still in OE, or save it to
the hard drive in SimpleText or AppleWorks (copy/paste).

If the idea is to back up your mail items, I simply copy the entire
Identities Folder to another volume. I have copied Identities Folders
between computers and have no trouble opening the mail folders within with
the OE on the guest computer.

Good Luck:
