Hi, If any of you are graphics gurus using OS X, I'm looking for some input.
I have Photoshop 7 and Dreamweaver MX and am wondering if I install these on Jaguar, whether documents generated with them will be openable on Photoshop 6 and Dreamweaver 4 on OS 9. Or - can I install these programs twice, once on X and once on 9? I also have a laptop and for now it must stay at 9, being a G3 with only 128MB RAM. I need to transfer stuff back and forth from home machine to laptop every day. Other question: wondering if I can install just Fireworks of the Studio MX package by itself if this turns out to be most practical solution for the near term, or if the Studio has to be installed as a package. I am presently in OS 9.2.1 on a Quicksilver G4 with an iBook 333mhz. Just upgraded the G4 to 896MB RAM and plan to install Jaguar on top of OS X.1, then the other programs. Please feel free to reply privately re your experiences if you believe this is too narrow a discussion for the group.
