If iTunes wont recognize it, Toast does give you a work around. You can 
drag songs from your iTunes library right into Toast's Audio field and 
it will then burn them fine. I use Toast a lot for this where I want to 
create custom compilations of selected tracks from my iTunes favorites.

Not quite as convenient as  as ingle button "click" but it works fine.
