Its definitely a problem with the game and the ATI drivers/open GL
initializing. I tried Jedi Knight II in my G3 upgraded 9500 with a Voodoo
3/2000 video card and it ran! It was slow and choppy but no error messages.
It refused to load in my G4/400 with the ATI rage 128 card. Nor would it
load after upgrading the video cards in both machines. The G4 got an ATI
8500 and the 9500 got an ATI 7000. Medal of Honor played with the original
version when I upgraded it to the X capable version it too gave the error
message in 9 that it couldn't initialize OpenGL. Same thing with Elite
Forces with the expansion pack version.

All 3 games are based on the Quake 3 engine, all 3 games are from Aspyr. Yet
Quake 3 plays on my machine in 9, and I believe I have the latest version.

Maybe as Marc suggested in his post it has to do with the Quickdraw
extensions either being missing or inactive. Or possibly a CarbonLib error
related to needing the EXACT version that Aspyr tested with. Either way I'll
have to play with Conflict Catcher again and see what's up.

I gave up and just keep my machine in X the 9500 runs mostly 9 but I boot
into X to play these games. X is a wee bit slow, time for a G4/800
processor. I'm too broke to spring for a new machine.
