Anyone have any info on all the different G4 variants. Ive gathered some info but can not verify much of it, since different sources are giving me different answers. Heres what I came up with anyway:
7400 - 1MB backside L2 cache at 1/2 processor speed, 350-500MHz, can be dual 7410 - low power variant of 7400, 466-533MHz, can be dual 7440 - 256K on chip L2 cache, never dual, 550-667MHz 7410 - same as 7440 but 700 or 800MHz 7445 - same as 7440 but 800MHz-1GHz 7450 - same as 7440 but 1 or 2MB backside L3 cache per processor, 667-867MHz, can be dual, has 4 Alti-Vecs 7451 - same as 7450 but used in laptops, some have DDR backside L3 cache, 667MHz-1GHz, probably not 4 Alti-Vecs but not sure 7455 - Same as 7451 but used in desktops, probably has 4 Alti-Vecs, 867MHz-1.42GHz All sound accurate?
