If you're already an OS X user skip this note. Or, skip it anyway!

This isn't exactly fresh news, but I just learned today there's an open
source release for Mozilla 1.3 that runs under OS 9. Actually, here at
work I'm running it under 8.6. Since we're a long ways away from OS X
here, this is good news.

The Preferences box now shows everything it's supposed to (no cutoff
words). Everything is as fast as it now should be with respect to the
interface. Big difference between it an Netscape 7.02 --- it even
launches faster.

The molassass that began with Netscape 6 is finally gone. Everyone who
thinks Netscape 7.02 is "fast enough", at least with regards to the
interface might want to really see how the other half lives now.

In very brief testing I noted that I had to switch themes once or twice
to fix an appearence bug where the printer icon is in the upper right
portion of the browser window.

Hey, I have a question for those still present. When I type in a URL in
the address bar, I can only use older URLs that were previously typed
in. Typing in new URLs and hitting Return, do nothing. I need a "Go"
button like IE 5 has I guess.

This isn't a Mozilla 1.3 issue; my copy of 7.02 has been acting the same
way for a few weeks now, although since I have some URLs in the address
bar's menu it was obviously once working at one point.
