actually, after googleing around and reading old list postings, i came across the all to obvious location of the software. i'm currently downloading a log of it. it's at <ftp://ftp.globalvillage.com/pub/software/mac/previous/> and possibly the next higher directory, i.e. <ftp://ftp.globalvillage.com/pub/software/mac/>. we'll see, it looks like their faster driver is there, even if the software isn't other than updates which presumably need the older version to install.
i've got a global village mercury in a 280c i just put together from parts (got the display and logic board in a load of duo stuff, had to fix the logic board so it would turn on consistently which was a pain, and hopefully resoldering about half the connections did it, not fun...) so i was looking for the driver etc. i'd really like to set up a laptop or se/30 as an answering machine and fax receiver, i'll have to play with the global village and other software i've got to see if a mac can be both at the same time. any thoughts? i do have some disk i need to return as well, if your the one who sent them, i'll be emailing you latter.
