Hi everyone, I have sitting here a Powerbook Wallstreet 266mhz/14.1 display. The A/C adapter card (the little one in the back with the audio connectors on it) had the A/C connector broken off in an accident, and i replaced the card with a new one from eBay. After installing the card and reassembling the Wallstreet to the best of my ability, the A/C card still seems to be ailing. When the connector from the adapter is moved slightly, the computer shuts off and popping sounds emit from the speakers. Then, after disassembling the machien again and reseating everything, all that happens is the green sleep LED turns on steadily for about 5 seconds, and the fan spins, then all goes dead. Nothing happens. Please help. Many thanks for ANY tests that i may run to determine what the problem is. (I dont have a battery that works, so i cant try anything pertaining to that)
Thanks again Harlan Knight Juvenile Geek __________________________________________________________________ McAfee VirusScan Online from the Netscape Network.
