I have been using Lite-on for some time and they work great. They boot on C and act just like an Apple Drive. I just bought this exact model at OfficeMax under the Cendyne name. If it starts with LTR, then it is Lite-on. I also have a Lite-on 48x CD rom + a 48x CDRW. I have tried others. I tried that Khypermedia at OfficeMax and found it did work but can't say over the long haul. It's worth trying. Mad dog multimedia definitely did not work. Verbatim didn't. Norcent worked alright but you had to turn off energy saver for some reason. I/O LMagic didn't work that great, as well . I like to try them in a Mac before I put them in a PC. Note: I do have a Rev B rom dimm and can't say for sure whether this affects it or not but I don't think so. ===== __________________________________________ alternate e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sig: Specs: Beige G3 DT/466mhz, OS 9.2.2 & 10.2 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
