The codec you need is specified by the video/audio file...depending on what you watch, Divx for Mac finally fixed the audio bug http://divx.com and probably the wma audio codec is nice to have (look around on http://3ivx.com for it). Search for avi on Apple's site to download the 3 indigo codecs that help play window avis as well. That will just about play everything on the net and that you can buy...
