I recently formatted and partitioned my 80 GB hard drive with FWB HD Toolkit..

I am now getting the following error on some of the partitions:

I/O error on bus 1: ID 0: non-recoverable error caused by media flaw

How concerned should I be?

How do I fix the flaw?

Apple's Disk Utility says it appears ok..

TechTool Pro's "Drives" test shows:

Self Diagnostic: FAIL
Rezero Unit: FAIL

It shows all partitions with the same findings...

I have the hard drive hooked up to a pci ATA card...(Siig)

Configuration: G3- 233 mHz (upgraded to G4-466), 80 GB HD, 4 GB HD, 640 RAM, System 9.2.2 on both drives...

TIA,

Ken
