I have several enhanced CDs (audio CDs with QuickTime clips, etc.) that play
just fine in my B&W G3 450. But one new CD is a problem--every 30 seconds
or so it pauses for about five seconds, then resumes playing. This continues
for the entire length of the CD. I've tried different versions of the Apple
CD/DVD driver, but that didn't help (or wouldn't allow the CD ROM drive to
work at all). I've tried the CD in different Macs here at my house, and it
played fine in the 8500 running 8.1 and in the clone running 9.1. I even
tried swapping out the CD ROM drive with a 24x Apple CD ROM drive, but then
my B&W wouldn't boot. I've run out of ideas. Any suggestions?

Check the Quicktime versions on the different systems.
