There were Mac versions of the Matrox cards. Some of the UMAX clones came with one installed ( like our UMAX c600). I never could find any updates for our card. When we bought a bigger monitor, and moved to OS 9.1, we replaced the Matrox card. We could only get one resolution out of it in OS 9.1
