Ok, the new-to-me G4/450 with OS X that I posted about earlier re: VirtualPC.
I've made a OS 9.2 boot volume out of the original HD, have a 100gig for OS X 10.2.6. I've put a few of the classic Unix tools (ncftp etc) on via terminal but that's about it for using X. So, for getting feet wet in OS X I have a few questions: -what are opinions on the best OS X "bible" reference currently? - I have an Adaptec 2906 SCSI card to install, it's supposed to work under 10.2.1 and higher- this true? Any issues? -I've got my OS 9 version of Toast 5.x, will that work OK under Classic or should I plan on booting to OS 9? That's about it so far... thanks for any help; Brian -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
