The Lite-on 52x32x52 CDRW I recently purchased which
had a very nice price at OfficeMax doesn't burn well
on my Beige G3. I have always had Lite-on work well
but this model, even though it copies a CD ok, it
takes forever to burn a toast volume. I was using OS
9.2 and Toast 5.2.1. I also updated the firmware of
the CDRW on a PC.

It's is a shame because it has a new design with a
very nice fit; the tray easily ejects through the
bezel; it even allows you to use the hole to eject a
disc, as the holes on PC burners are opposite than
Apple CD roms. I wonder if anyone else has purchased
this model and had better luck in their computer. It
also has other oddities as well. I'm definitely taking
it back.
