How many chips are on the 256RAM, 8 or 16?
Thanks to those that answered my plea. Sorry I was not back in touch sooner, but, was down again.
All the 256 sticks have 16 chips on them, 8 each side. All are pc100. It does not matter what order I put them in, the third slot won't take a 256 stick. It will take a 64 or 32. I used these same 3 - 256 sticks in a G3/300 DT. I am now putting them into a G3/300 (same processor) MT. Even if I put one 256 just in the 3rd slot it doesn't work.
