I've ordered from OWC on a number of occasions and had overall good
experience with a couple of exceptions.

1) Their "restocking fee" of 15% on returned items is problematic.
2) Their tech support has been contradictory.

A couple of times I was told an item was compatible with the specific system
I was purchasing it for, either by the manufacturer or by OWC. When having
problems getting it working, OWC insisted on charging me the restocking fee.

In the first case, I was able to get it waived since OWC's web site said the
item was compatible with my machine, but the manufacturer said it wasn't.

In the second case, I received two conflicting reports from OWC's tech
support, one that the item was compatible with my machine, and one that it
wasn't. I could probably have gotten them to waive the restocking fee
because of this, but after about 35 minutes on "hold" waiting for the right
customer service manager, I hung up. In this case, I was able to get it
working through help from MacGurus, so I kept the item.
