As noted in LEM, the new macs have changed the value equations. When you figure you can get last week's eMac for $699 new, I thought, you know, maybe I need to sell my Cube, cash the profit and buy an eMac, with $$ to spare.
So I checked out eBay and guess what? the prices of Cubes are finally falling (now that I want to sell). Furthermore, it appears these machines are mostly owned by graphics guys who have jacked up the ram and routinely include all the incredibly expensive software on the machine--like final cut and photoshop. They are probably all getting G5s. I don't think you can be in the graphics business for long without being a little persnickety--so I am guessing this is as a good a time as any to get a cube.
