IMHO, Mail in OS X will more than suit your needs. It's integrated with the Address book. It can handle POP or IMAP. Can create local mail folders to store mail on HD instead of mail server. Can create "Rules" (aka filters). Address book can handle group mailing lists no problem. Give it a try.

I recently switched to 10.1.5 and, of course, can't use outlook express in
X. Before I go to all the trouble of moving everything to Mail I'd like to
know if folks prefer other email programs for X better than Mail. I use this
for business (need to be able to mail to a group, though not a huge one) and
personal. Any suggestions?
