sonnet ATA66 PCI in B&W

I have a B&W with two Maxtor disks (60 and 120GB) connected to the 
internal IDE-controller. Would I notice any improvement in performance 
if I connect these to a Sonnet ATA/66 PCI? Any other considerations?
