If anyone would like to explain the sequence of going from 8.5 to 9.2 and which OS must be installed I'd like to hear what they have to say.
Starting at OS 8.5: 8.5.1 Update, or go right to 8.6 Update
OS 9.0 is next step. This was a purchase upgrade. 9.0.4 update was free download. 9.1, free too. 9.2.x free as well. Once you had 9.0 you were good all the way to 9.2.2. If you had 9.0 you had to update to 9.1 first, then 9.2.
