Hi all,
I have a Dual G4 500 MHz, gigabit ethernet mac, it has two hdds, both 120 GBish, one is IBM the other WD. It has a Geforce 4 MX video card, Apple OEM and a pci Radeon 7000. I leave my mac running all day long while I am at school, for various reasons, a couple days ago when I got home it had a black screen on the main screen (it has four monitors attatched to it) and I forget the exact error, I figured it was just some trivial thing that went wrong, so I hit the reset button and it froze part way through boot up. If I leave it off for a while and then start it I usually am able to get logged in. But after that like when I try to run iChat or yahoo, or safari the computer will freeze. I amtyping this on my PB Pismo. right now my GG4 tower seems to be stuck on the start up screen with the progress bar and the message is starting login window. However the colorful mouse circle is spinning, and it usually only takes a couple seconds to get past this part on boot, it is a!
