Many have mentioned problems with Palm Desktop 4.1 and OS 10.3.x. I got 4.1 to work on my iBook with a Handspring Visor running the latest 10.3.x update. However, had trouble on wife's G4 1.25. She has Palm m100 with Serial to USB converter. Downgraded Palm Desktop 4.1 to 4.0 and it works fine. Downgrading to 4.0 may be a "solution" for those running 10.3.x and having some problems.
Palm's site probably has an archive. Just for grins I put the 4.0 installer on the wanna-be kbase:
