We have two G4 Mirror Door computers in our office. We are running 9.2 on
them rather than X for software compatibility issues.
Office 98 programs crash with an error type 3.
Stuffit 6.5 crashes with the same error.
We've tried these programs, using original disks and cd keys, in two of the
above computers, and get the same problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Trash your finder preferences. Office 98 is horribly written software that corrupts the Mac OS like no other...besides Word 6. Usually in OS 9 when you see error type 2, 3, 10 or 11 it's corrupted Finder Preferences.
