Hi Larry, it would be my guess that being as the CD is all alone (no ZIP 
drive) on that IDE channel then it would be set to master, so your HD should 
be set to slave.  That said, coming from the PC world, there are often 
problems with putting a CD as master and a HD as slave.  HD's are often picky 
about working with other devices that are set to master.  If it doesn't work 
that way then reverse the settings, make the HD master and the CD slave.
