So the 'AV Personality
Card' and 'what can you do with

has come and gone but
no answers. So my queation IS: Is
there ANYBODY
who actually USES the
'wings' AV personality card? and
if so what
for...
I can't find any info
anywhere! WHISPER card has in and
out for Audio
WINGS has lots of rca
ports and s-video but where does
it go and: how
does it show on the
computer so you can work with it or
Is there a
special DRIVER for or
it Is it a capture device? What
software came
with it??
I had a good look at
both cards and all the xtra
sockets have
something to do with
AIO is that: ALL IN ONE maybe, and
there is the
modem socket of course.
The large socket on the AV card
says 'DAV'
with a little arrow.The
manuals don't tell you much. I
found that you
can mirror your screen
to a TV but if I put a s-video
camcorder or
s-vhs recorder on the
IN can I capture it when I am
looking at it or
only watch it.
Does anybody know more

Yes! I'm using it to watch DVDs with it. Works perfectly
with old freeware called FusionRecorder which already
worked on my vintage Quadra 840av. You can also capture
video with it, it's SECAM/PAL/NTSC-compatible etc.
FusionRecorder works much better IMHO than the pathetic
Apple VideoPlayer ...
