I just installed OS 9 from the original CD and did all
the upgrades checking the USB and FireWire options, too.
They were originally not checked even though the card was
already installed.

In my Extensions folder there is the FireWire enabler
plus the FireWire support.

So the installer apparently didn't "see" the card as a
FireWire but a USB-only ...

Any more suggestions? Nobody ever heard of this card? The
vendor never responded to my mail.
