I'm using a B&W G3/350, Rev.2, OS 9.2.2 at my home office and a Dell 8100 laptop running Microsoft Win 2000 Professional at work.

The easiest way would be to just borrow a router with a couple ports from a friend, plug the things in, share the folders you need on the PC, and go in and grab from the Mac to your heart's content, if you don't have a router handy, you can go get a cheap ethernet hub somewhere and plug them both into that, that's how I copied my Performa to my B&W. My B&W has probably pulled files off every single machine I own at one point in time.

Except a Windows 2000 and OS 9.2 system don't share files like that....
