Hi,

Haven't heard this before and it's worrying: I've a beige G3/300 MT (Rev 2 ROM), and have now amassed the goodies to upgrade it. I've got an Encore G4/700 ZIF, 3 x 256MB DIMMS (both from OWC in the US), and a flashed Sapphire RADEON 7000 64MB DDR PCI card.

My Mac already has a Belkin 5-port (4 external, 1 internal) USB 2 PCI card fitted.

Is this going to be an unviable set-up?

If I have to change the USB card, is there a recommended USB & Firewire card which will work in harmony with the other items when I fit them?

I run 10.2.8 and occasionally 9.2.2, I have the Apple ultra-SCSI (flashed back to ATTO) card with 2 x 18Gb ultra SCSI disks (one for OSX, one for 9.2.2) and an 80GB ATA fitted for storage, and the standard CD-ROM has been replaced with a Pioneer 106 DVD-RW.

Thanks,

Ted

And for my next problem:
System: Beige G-3 266 rev A Board, Rev C ROM, 20 GB HD
5 port USB card (4 on the back and one inside)
TempoCard
Radeon 7000

I can't get the thing too boot with the radeon card installed. I had a belkin card installed and then i read about the conflicts with the radeon so i got a new card
