Just for everyone's general information, I did manage to get my beige G3 to work the way that Wilton said and without XPostFacto. I think the key is to make sure you install the OS 9 drivers when setting up the partitions for OSX. After I went back and reinstalled OSX (for the 3rd time), I made sure that the OS 9 drivers were installed. After doing that, I can now boot into OSX, go to the startup disk selection under System Preferences and select the second partition of my HD which contains OS 9 and hit restart. It will then start the computer in OS 9. Once there I can go to the Startup Disk under the Control Panels and select the first partition of my HD which contains OSX and hit restart, and before you know it I'm in OSX! Since getting that done last night I have been working on installing YDL to my last partition, but it's not going so well. It hangs every time I get to the place where I should select my CDROM as the media source. Any of you YDL'ers out there had this problem? -- Just a message from Doug... -------------------------------------------- http://users.adelphia.net/~slugg0/index.html -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
