I was reading Aaron Willems' comments about MDDs on the G-list and he mentioned that his dual 867 MHz MDD can not play Halo or Unreal Tournament 2004. May I ask why it can not? Here are the system requirements for Halo from the Apple page, "Mac OS X version 10.2.8(10.3 or higher recommended), 256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended), 800MHz PowerPC G4 processor (1GHz or higher recommended), 32 MB AGP Video card; GeForce 2MX/ATI Radeon 7000 or better, 1.4 GB hard disk space. The requirements for Unreal 2004 are similar. He can play Halo on it. (Halo is much happier with more VRAM than 32MB) but it will play fine on an MDD 867. At least it does on mine. Don't know about Unreal Tournament 2004 as I have not tried it.
I am looking at a 867MHz dual processor for my son who would be interested in these games too, so I have a personal interest in the answers.
