Hi all, Help! I just installed the ATI/Sapphire Radeon 7000 PCI card but no cigar yet ...
I'm using a beige MT 300 MHz with OS 9.2.2 and installed the ATI Retail drivers, i.e. the October 2002 update as recommended on the ATI site. I could play DivX-ed videos before using the mobo-video but even that won't work anymore! I just get a grey QuickTime player, no picture. I thought that the Radeon would support QuickTime and provide good hardware-acceleration, it says so everywhere, that's why I bought it. I installed QT ver. 6. Also I can't find a suitable DVD-player for the card. Apple DVD-player ver. 1.3 doesn't find the hardware and the ATI video-player apparently doesn't support the Radeon. Is there a hacked video- and DVD-player that will use the Radeon hardware-acceleration? What am I missing? There must be many of you who use the Radeon 7000 with satisfaction. Could you please shed some light for me? Thanks a lot. Jrg. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
