Is anyone on list using a USB keyboard and mouse via an MKM(USB) to
control a Mac and a PC together? If so are you using a Mac "keyed"
keyboard or a Windows "keyed" KB?

I've got an IOGear MiniView III KVMP (peripheral switch, too) with my G5 and an XP box at work. I've got a Logitech keyboard with all kinds of extra buttons on it. The extra buttons on the keyboard don't work if you plug in the keyboard via the normal keyboard port, and the Logitech driver for OS X doesn't recognize the keyboard (because the KVM emulates a keyboard). My recommendation would be to only use a plain old 103 key (is that the right number?) USB PC keyboard without any extra keys beyond the standard ones and use uControl on OS X to swap the command and option keys.
