can anyone share with me how to configure an image writer printer in osx?
Assuming you have the right drivers (I can't remember where I got mine, I found it using Google, try <www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/ imagewriter />) and some way of connecting it to your printer you should be able to use Print Center. At least I did. I may also have installed Ghostscript. I can't remember as I no longer use the ImageWriter. I mostly just set it up to say that I could use a recent Mac and operating system with a long obsolete printer. Very cool.
