No complaints here!  I've done it twice with the G4 upgrades from Daystar.
They're very good with delivery and replacing faulty processors.  Remember
though that the jumpers for overclocking  an XLR8 processor are located on
the processor itself so the board jumpers become not applicable.

My first upgrade was from the original Apple G3/300 processor to an XLR8
G4/350.  I was able to overclock it to 400, but due to limitations on this
specific processor I wasn't able to go beyond 400.  From here I upgraded a
year later to a G4/500 and I was able to overclock this thing to 600.  My
B&W flies pretty well under Jaguar.  I'd go for the G4 upgrade.
