I am curious what your daily workload is on the OS X, what you use it for and what not. I am wondering if it is different than what I do. I still prefer OS 9, but that is only my opinion. :)

I use mine for daily business use in a company full of peecees. At almost anytime I will have:

Excel
Mail
Keynote
Apple Works
Safari
Photoshop
Stickies
Acrobat
VPC
iTunes
iPhoto

all open at the same time, and use most of them throughout the day. (Expose rocks!) The only time I ever use OS 9 is if I need to use the back up Canon scanner which works fine under classic, or I want to do labels, which I still use Word Perfect 3.5 for under classic.

It took me about a month to become comfortable with OS X and that didn't happen until 10.1.5. Before then I stuck with OS 9. Now I don't ever boot into it. Just use Classic.

Mentally I am completely ready to move up to a non OS 9 booting G5.

Unfortunately, fiscally, my current MDD G4 is still going strong for everything I need to do. :-)
