Hi list,

I've always enjoyed video-playback through the S-Video
input of the AV-cards in my 6100 and 7100 Macs (OS 8.6),
sharp picture with full resolution, no artifacts, just
like on an excellent TV.

But when I play video or DVD through the AV-card of my
beige it's awful, jittery with artifacts and jaggies! It
looks like a bad QuickTime movie blown up. Even the
on-screen menu of my DVD-player is blurred. I use the
same video settings in my player (FusionRecorder) as
before, changing the settings doesn't help, either ...

Does anyone know what this is all about? Any remedy?

TIA for your comments.

Jrg.
