I'll hope this isn't too dumb a question, but in my beige G3 DT 300MHz running
OS 9.1, after I installed an Adaptec USB PCI card ( USB 1.1 / 2.0 ) it
recognized a USB digital camera and a USB flash drive with no other separate
installations. However in a PPC 9600 with G3 400MHz upgrade, the PCI USB card
and anything attached to it are not recognized. In the OS 9.1 operating system
installation the USB extensions were not installed as part of the "easy
install" routine. Can they be installed as a separate "custom install", or can
they be just "dragged over" or is there a separate extension I need to install.
( i.e. is the "Apple USB card fix" mentioned below what I need ) to get the USB
1.1 card recognized? If so what is the name or description of the "Apple USB
card fix" that I need to download?
Thank you,
Don
