All,
I have a Samsung SM-348B Combo drive in a B&W G3 that I want to get working with Finder Burning.
I've consulted xlr8.com's excellent optical drive compatibility site:
<http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/drivedb/search.drivedb.lasso>
However, most of the information regards 10.2.x.
I've checked ASP and it says finder burning is not supported. I've tried Disc Burner and Burnerz from versiontracker. Neither worked.
I got PatchBurn II and attempted to set it up. The "expert" mode is quite confusing. After I thought I had it setup right I got an error burning a disk.
I remember reading something about modifying the plugin file to "make" the drive work, but can't find it now.
Any suggestions on how to get this thing going is appreciated!
Thanks,
Glenn
