I've been around and around, getting a bit dizzy from it all, trying to locate the proper driver for my Macally Firewire/USB card. The web address listed with the location of the driver in the manual does not exist and I have been unable to find it on the Apple web site. I believe I found the proper location for the OS9 driver, but so far I have not been able to find anything for OSX! I'm running 10.2.6 on my beige G3 266 DT and under the devices tab of the system profiler, it shows the PCI firewire/usb card, but under the USB and FireWire Information, it reports no devices found. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

My Sonnet Tempo USB/FW card is reported under the PCI/A1 heading in devices. My FW partitions show under FW devices, but nothing shows under USB devices although I have several fully functioning USB devices attached.
Are you having probs getting devices connected to the card to function, or just having a problem viewing them in ASP? ASP is deficient in many ways.

Okay, USB appears to be there, even though it doesn't report it as such. I have an HP DJ 932C connected via USB which I just successfully printed a test page from. However I have no Firewire devices at the present time as I wanted to be sure it was working before I invested in any. Is there a way to test it before I go out and buy something?

Just a message from Doug...
