Occasionally it refuses to wake up or freezes, and the only way for me to restart it is to pull the power cord as I cannot get ANY respose whetever keycombination I press, nor can I find any other buttons than the main Power button which has no effect whatsoever...
Any tips ?

Rarely , but occasionally I have this problem on my MDDP , also. When it happens as you have mentioned keyboard entries seem to be ignored. I use the shift key most often. The Power button is my backup when all else fails. You must press in and hold for several seconds. It , however, is not my favorite method , tho.
