Further to my last post, this problem now takes place only when booting 
from 9.22 into Panther. If you are in panther and shut down, it starts 
fine back in panther. If you are in 9.22 and shut down, it restarts in 
9.22. If you are in Panther, you can switch into 9.22, but... if you're 
in 9.22 it won't boot into Panther unless you do the zap pram thing.
