I don't have an iTrip, but do have a Belkin TuneCast II. Admittedly, the iTrip is a much better designed unit (you need about 3-4 hands to get the TuneCast II and the power adapter all hooked up and situated). I bought the TuneCast II in a hurry as I was going on a trip at a store that didn't have iTrips in stock. I have been mostly pleased with my TuneCast II, in wide-open rural spaces it transmits loud and strong, especially at night. In a crowded metro area (Orlando), I found that the radio saturation was too dense to overpower an existing station or find a blank channel (thank the FCC!). I hope you enjoy your iPod, iTrip, etc. I have had a blast with my iPod 40 since Valentine's Day (my wife is quite wonderful!).

I use mine with a Griffin iTalk to record my favorite radio talk shows when I'm not home. And I have a digital camera film reader for it (both items the iPod mini does not support) that I use when I travel.
