And then Last month's MacWorld had a free copy of ReadIris Pro on as well (well the UK issue did anyway)
I've had success with all of these on Umax 1220U and Canon N650U

If I only knew it! I bought ReadIris Pro 9 recently. It works with my Scanner (Umax Astra 1200) connected to a G3/300. However, it allways "quits unexpectedly" if I start acquiring a new document immediately after finishing one. I need to quit if I am to start a new document in order to avoid that. I noticed, however, that if I trash the Preferences file it works OK for a while and then starts with this quitting stuff again.
